JD - E commerce Sales Head (Merchandise)

Role Objective

Own the entire merchandise business end-to-end — from deciding what products to sell to sourcing, pricing, branding, marketing, website management, stock planning and ultimately achieving monthly sales targets.

This is a hands-on business ownership role, not just a marketing or e-commerce role.

Key Responsibilities

- Merchandise Sales: Own monthly revenue, units sold, average order value, margins and category-wise targets across online + offline channels.
- Product Planning: Identify products that parents and kids will actually buy; study trends, competitors, seasonal demand and TJT customer behaviour.
- Sourcing & Vendor Coordination: Find vendors, negotiate prices/MOQs, coordinate samples, quality checks, packaging, replenishment and timelines.
- E-Commerce Website: Completely manage the merchandise section of the website — product uploads, descriptions, images, pricing, inventory, offers, banners, checkout experience and order monitoring.
- Marketplace Expansion: Evaluate and manage suitable platforms for sales




- SEO & Google: Optimise product pages, keywords, blogs and search visibility to generate organic sales.
- Offline Retail Sales: Ensure attractive merchandising and sales at TJT centres, events, birthdays, pop-ups and other physical touchpoints.
- Campaigns: Create monthly offers, festive launches, bundles, limited editions, birthday gifting, school gifting and seasonal collections.
- Corporate/Bulk Sales: Explore schools, birthday return gifts, hotels, corporates and event gifting opportunities.
- Inventory Management: Track quick-moving, slow-moving and dead stock; maintain reorder levels and avoid unnecessary inventory blocking cash.
- Order Fulfilment: Coordinate packing, dispatch, courier partners, returns, replacements and customer complaints.
- Customer Feedback: Track reviews, reasons for returns, repeat purchases and requests for new products.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
