E-COMMERCE MANAGER

About the Role
Into India Sourcing Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and commercially driven E-Commerce Manager to lead and develop the company’s e-commerce business and online sales operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing e-commerce platforms, driving online business growth, improving product visibility and conversion, monitoring sales performance, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth execution from product sourcing to online order fulfilment.
The role requires a combination of e-commerce expertise, commercial understanding, data analysis, marketplace management and strong coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities1. E-Commerce Business Management
- Manage and grow the company's e-commerce business across relevant marketplaces and online channels.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase online sales, revenue and profitability.
- Identify new e-commerce opportunities, marketplaces and digital sales channels.
- Work closely with the Director and Operations Head on business plans, targets and growth initiatives.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, competitor activity and pricing.
2. Marketplace & Website Management
- Manage product listings, catalogue creation, product descriptions, pricing, images and inventory across e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure products are accurately presented and commercially positioned.
- Monitor product rankings, search visibility, conversion rates and customer reviews.
- Coordinate website/e-commerce platform updates and improvements.
- Ensure online stores remain updated, accurate and operational.
3. Sales & Performance Management
- Track daily, weekly and monthly online sales performance.
- Prepare MIS and management reports covering:
- Sales
- Revenue
- Orders
- Average Order Value
- Conversion Rate
- Product performance
- Returns/cancellations
- Marketplace profitability
- Analyse sales data and identify areas for improvement.
- Set and monitor monthly/quarterly sales targets.
4. Product & Sourcing Coordination
- Coordinate closely with the Sourcing and Merchandising teams to identify products suitable for online sales.
- Analyse product demand, pricing and market trends before product launch.
- Provide market feedback to sourcing and merchandising teams.
- Support product selection based on commercial potential and customer demand.
- Coordinate new product launches and online collections.
5. Digital Marketing & Promotions
- Coordinate with internal/external marketing teams for online campaigns and promotions.
- Plan marketplace promotions, discounts, offers and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor campaign performance and ROI.
- Coordinate SEO, paid advertising, social media and other digital initiatives where required.
- Improve product visibility and customer acquisition.
6. Order & Operations Coordination
- Work closely with Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure timely order processing and fulfilment.
- Monitor inventory availability and avoid stock-outs/overstock situations.
- Coordinate on dispatch, returns, replacements and customer issues.
- Work with Finance on marketplace settlements, deductions, commissions and reconciliations.
7. Business Development
- Research and evaluate new marketplaces and e-commerce opportunities in India and international markets.
- Develop relationships with marketplace partners, agencies, technology providers and other e-commerce vendors.
- Explore opportunities for expanding the company's online product portfolio and customer base.
- Support management in developing new digital business models.
8. Team & Vendor Management
- Manage and guide e-commerce executives/agencies/vendors, where applicable.
- Coordinate with marketplace account managers and external service providers.
- Ensure timely execution of e-commerce activities and deliverables.
- Establish processes and SOPs for efficient e-commerce operations.

Candidate Profile
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Management or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, E-Commerce or Business Management will be an advantage.
Experience:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, online retail or digital business.
- Experience managing platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Shopify or other relevant marketplaces.
- Experience in fashion, apparel, lifestyle, sourcing, retail or consumer products will be preferred.

Preferred Exposure
Candidates with experience in fashion, apparel, garment sourcing, merchandising, retail or international e-commerce will be preferred.
Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, marketplace dashboards, Google Analytics, Meta Ads, Google Ads and e-commerce reporting tools will be an added advantage.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate should be commercially strong, analytical and hands-on, with the ability to independently manage the e-commerce function while working closely with the Director, Operations Head, Sourcing and Merchandising teams.
The person should be capable of converting market data and customer insights into actionable business decisions and should have a strong focus on sales growth, profitability and scalable e-commerce operations.
Pay: From ₹702,088.52 per year
