ROLE OVERVIEW

RIITEK is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Accountant who can own the money side of a multi-channel online business. You will track every rupee from order to settlement - across Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify and other channels -

reconcile marketplace payouts with the bank, keep GST and TDS filings clean, and tell management which channel and which product is actually making money.

This is a hands-on role with real ownership. If you enjoy large data sets,

spotting the Rs. 400 commission that shouldn't have been charged, and turning messy marketplace reports into clear numbers, you'll do well here.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Bookkeeping & Accounting

- Record daily sales, refunds, chargebacks, cancellations and marketplace

settlements (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify and others).
- Process purchase invoices, expense entries and vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries and month-end closing schedules.

1. Marketplace & Bank Reconciliation





- Reconcile marketplace settlement reports with bank statements and books.
- Verify commissions, closing fees, shipping charges, storage and removal

fees, TCS and returns - and flag every discrepancy.
- Track short payments, lost/damaged reimbursements and follow them up to

closure with the marketplace.
- Reconcile payment gateway (Razorpay / others) payouts for D2C orders.

1. Inventory & Cost Accounting (works with the warehouse team)

- Match stock movement, FBA/FBF transfers and returns with accounting records.
- Maintain landed cost, and support periodic physical stock reconciliation.

1. Compliance & Taxation

- Prepare data for and ensure timely GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and annual return filings.
- Handle TDS/TCS working, deduction and return support.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation for statutory filings and assessments.

1. Financial Reporting

- Prepare monthly P&L;, balance sheet and cash-flow statements.
- Build marketplace-wise and SKU-wise profitability reports (after ads,

fees, returns and shipping).
- Support management in budgeting, cash-flow planning and pricing decisions.

1. Coordination

- Work closely with operations, warehouse, purchase and marketing teams so

the books match what actually shipped.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants and banks.

REQUIRED SKILLS




- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS and Indian accounting standards.
- Practical experience with Tally (Prime), Zoho Books, QuickBooks or similar.
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets - VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables,

conditional formulas; comfortable with 50,000+ row reports.
- Ability to reconcile large marketplace data sets accurately and on time.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication for follow-ups with marketplaces

and vendors.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce

(CA / CA Inter preferred).
- 2-5 years of accounting experience, ideally with an e-commerce seller,

D2C brand or 3P marketplace aggregator.
- Hands-on with Amazon Seller Central, Flipkart Seller Hub and Shopify

reports and payment dashboards.
- Exposure to reconciliation tools / automation, or the ability to build

recurring reports yourself.
