Experience Required

- 4 to 12 years of software development experience.
- At least 3+ to 4 years of Mainframe development experience .

Must-Have Mainframe Skills (Any One) Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least one of the following:

- COBOL
- AS/400
- iSeries
- RPGLE

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, support, and maintain Mainframe applications.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
- Work on batch jobs, online transaction systems, and production support.
- Troubleshoot job failures, application issues, and production incidents.
- Develop and optimize SQL/DB2 programs.
- Support system integrations with other applications and APIs.
- Participate in testing (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT) and production releases.




- Work closely with Business Analysts, QA teams, Architects, and stakeholders.
- Follow Agile/Scrum delivery practices.

Required Technical Skills

- Mainframe technologies such as:
- COBOL
- JCL
- CICS
- DB2
- VSAM
- Experience in batch processing and production support.
- SQL and database development knowledge.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of SDLC and software development best practices.

Good to Have

- Exposure to APIs and integration technologies.
- CI/CD and DevOps knowledge.
- Cloud or application modernization experience.
- Insurance domain experience, especially:
- New Business
- Policy Issuance
- Policy Servicing
- Endorsements
- Renewals
- Claims Processing
- Billing & Payments
