Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Golkonda Hotel in Hyderabad. This role oversees day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring smooth functioning of front office, guest services, and coordination with housekeeping and food & beverage teams.

The Duty

Manager handles guest queries and concerns, manages check-in and check-out processes, monitors room allocation, and ensures service standards are consistently maintained.

Responsibilities include supervising staff on duty, supporting training and performance,



enforcing safety and security procedures, and addressing operational issues in real time. The role also involves collaborating with senior management on occupancy, revenue optimization, and maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for guests and team members.

Qualifications

- Strong hotel operations and front office management skills, including guest relations and service coordination.
- Proficiency in communication, interpersonal skills, and conflict resolution to manage guest interactions and team dynamics.
- Ability to lead and supervise diverse teams, organize schedules, and maintain high service standards.
- Sound knowledge of hotel safety, security, and compliance practices, with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with hotel management software, reservation systems, and basic reporting or analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or duty manager role in hotels or hospitality environments is highly beneficial.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
