Role Description The Duty Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at The Golkonda Hotel in Hyderabad. This position oversees daily hotel operations, ensuring smooth functioning of front office, guest services, and coordination with housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments.

The Duty

Manager handles guest check-ins and check-outs, resolves escalated issues, and maintains high standards of service and hospitality.

Responsibilities include monitoring staff performance on shift, supporting team members,



managing occupancy and room allocation, and ensuring adherence to hotel policies and safety procedures. The role also involves updating management on operational matters, responding to guest feedback, and helping drive overall guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong hospitality operations skills, including front office management, guest relations, and shift supervision.
- Competence in problem-solving, decision-making, and handling guest complaints with professionalism and tact.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with staff, guests, and management.
- Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a rapid-paced environment.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems, reservation platforms, and basic computer applications.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or duty manager role in hotels or hospitality is highly preferred.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field is advantageous.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per hotel operational requirements.
