Role Description This is a full-time, on-site drone AI robotics research role based in the Greater Visakhapatnam Area. The role involves designing, prototyping, and testing drone and robotics systems that leverage AI for navigation, data collection, and automation in retail and related environments.

Day-to-day tasks include conducting applied research on drone hardware and software, developing and training AI models for autonomous control, and integrating sensors and communication modules into robotic platforms. The role also includes documenting experimental results, collaborating with engineering and product teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.



The successful candidate will regularly analyze performance data, refine algorithms, participate in field tests, and contribute to technical reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in robotics, drone technologies, or mechatronics, including experience with hardware integration, sensors, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in AI and machine learning techniques relevant to robotics, such as computer vision, path planning, and autonomous navigation.
- Experience with programming languages commonly used in robotics and AI (e.g., Python, C/C++, ROS, MATLAB) and version control tools.
- Ability to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and translate findings into practical improvements for drone and robotic systems.
- Understanding of safety standards, field-testing procedures, and applicable regulatory considerations for drones and robotics.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in office with multidisciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in industrial or commercial drone applications, retail technology, or EMF-related solutions is an advantage.
