Job Summary

VIBGYOR High is looking for a passionate Speech & Drama Teacher with 1–3 years of relevant school experience to develop students' communication, confidence, creativity, voice modulation, articulation and stage performance skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging Speech & Drama lessons for students.
- Develop students' speech, diction, pronunciation, expression and public-speaking skills.
- Teach acting, improvisation, storytelling, role play and theatre techniques.
- Prepare students for annual productions, assemblies, competitions and school events.
- Conduct rehearsals and support students with characterisation, stage movement and performance.
- Assist with scripts, casting, props, costumes and production requirements.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain lesson plans, student records and assessment documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and coordinators on interdisciplinary and co-curricular activities.
- Actively participate in school events, workshops and other institutional activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Performing Arts, Theatre, Drama, English, Communication or related field.
- Relevant Diploma/Certification in Theatre/Drama/Performing Arts will be an advantage.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a school environment preferred.
- Prior experience in school productions, annual day, theatre competitions or stage performances is desirable.
