POSITION- Project Purchase Officer / Executive – Off Roll

/ RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support senior buyers in day-to-day procurement activities, including vendor communication and follow-ups.
- Prepare comparison statements (techno-commercial) and perform basic cost and data analysis for procurement decisions.
- Coordinate with project, legal, and supplier teams for contract finalization and execution of purchase agreements.
- To handle small size procurement up-to 10 lacs independently in consultation with senior buyers.
- Handle purchase order amendments (tax changes, plant code updates, etc.) and support vendor payment processing.
- Maintain and update vendor database, including onboarding, documentation, and compliance records.
- Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery, documentation, and contract execution.
- Generate reports, dashboards, and MIS (spend analysis, savings tracking, contract status, etc.).
- Conduct basic market research for vendor identification, pricing trends, and product specifications.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all procurement transactions.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the procurement and project teams.




- Assist in preparation and processing of Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) in SAP or relevant systems.
- Track PR-to-PO conversion timelines and ensure timely closure of procurement activities.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE: Educational qualification - B.E/ Diploma (Mechanical)

Minimum years of experience - 1 – 2 Years or Experience

Specific skills / Personal attributes:

 Robust communication and coordination skills.

 Proficiency in MS Ofice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & PowerBi).

 Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn.

 Basic understanding of procurement / supply chain concepts (preferred but not mandatory).

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
