Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dietitian role based in Ludhiana. The Dietitian will design and implement individualized nutrition plans for patients receiving mental health and addiction treatment, in coordination with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and other care team members. Daily responsibilities include conducting nutritional assessments, offering one-on-one and group counseling, and providing medical nutrition therapy that supports overall mental and physical well-being.

The role also involves monitoring patient progress, educating patients and caregivers on healthy eating habits, and adapting dietary interventions to cultural,



medical, and lifestyle needs. The Dietitian will maintain accurate documentation, contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions, and participate in quality improvement and community outreach initiatives related to nutrition and mental health.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to translate clinical guidelines into practical meal plans.
- Skills in Nutritional Counseling and Weight Management to support behavior change and sustainable lifestyle improvements.
- Experience with Medical Nutrition Therapy for individuals with mental health conditions, addictions, and co-occurring medical issues.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field; registration or licensure as a dietitian/nutrition qualified as applicable.
- Knowledge of mental health and addiction care settings, with sensitivity to diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage a full-time on-site caseload in Ludhiana, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality.
- Previous experience in hospital, clinic, or community health settings is an advantage.
