Role Description This is a full time Dietitian role in a hybrid work arrangement, with primary responsibilities based in the Bangalore Urban district and some work-from-home flexibility. The Dietitian will assess patients’ nutritional status, develop individualized meal plans, and provide ongoing nutritional counseling for a range of medical conditions and lifestyle goals. Daily tasks include collaborating with physicians and other clinicians to deliver medical nutrition therapy, monitoring patient progress, documenting care in medical records, and updating plans based on outcomes and clinical guidelines.

The role also involves educating patients and families on healthy eating habits, weight management strategies, and preventive nutrition,



as well as participating in multidisciplinary case discussions and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply evidence-based guidelines in clinical practice.
- Proficiency in Nutritional Counseling, including conducting assessments, setting goals, and supporting behavior change.
- Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy for common acute and chronic conditions seen in hospital and outpatient settings.
- Knowledge of Weight Management strategies, including designing safe, sustainable nutrition plans tailored to individual needs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Relevant professional registration or licensure as required by local regulations (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment and communicate clearly with patients and care teams.
- Strong documentation skills, familiarity with electronic medical records, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages used in Bangalore is an advantage.
- Demonstrated empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a patient-centered approach to care.
