Role Description The DevOps role at PPStack is a full-time remote position responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support PPStack’s digital learning and career platforms. Day-to-day tasks include designing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability of services.

The role involves working closely with software development teams to streamline integration and delivery processes, managing Kubernetes-based container orchestration, and overseeing Linux-based server environments.



The DevOps professional will implement infrastructure-as-code practices, enhance system observability, and contribute to security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies. Collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement are central aspects of this position.

Qualifications

- Robust skills in Software Development and Integration to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and support end-to-end delivery workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration practices and tools to design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration, deployment automation, and scalable microservices management.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux for system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and secure server operations.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK stacks) to ensure system reliability and visibility.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices, networking fundamentals, and security best practices in distributed systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, communicate clearly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
