ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a DevOps Intern who leads with AI and automation not as an afterthought, but as the default way of working. You'll own the full delivery lifecycle: from infrastructure provisioning to deployment pipelines to automated testing and self-healing ops. If a task can be automated or augmented with an agent, your instinct is to build it that way.

WHAT SETS THIS ROLE APART

This is not a traditional DevOps role. You will be expected to:

- Use AI and agentic tooling actively LLM-assisted runbooks, autonomous incident response, self-healing

pipelines
- Design end-to-end structured pipelines: code commit build test deploy monitor fully automated
- Build autonomous agents that reduce human intervention in repetitive ops and QA workflows
- Treat automation as a first-class deliverable, not a nice-to-have

CORE STACK MUST-HAVE AWS • GCP • Terraform / IaC • Docker • Kubernetes • CI/CD

PIPELINE & AUTOMATION EXPERTISE

CI/CD: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or equivalent end-to-end pipeline ownership

Testing automation: Integrate unit, integration, and E2E tests directly into pipeline gates no manual triggers

Deployment: Blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments with automated rollback on failure

Infrastructure: Terraform modules for AWS and GCP reproducible, version-controlled, peer-reviewed

Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch — with automated alerting and anomaly detection

Security: Automated secrets rotation, vulnerability scanning in pipeline, IAM policy enforcement

AI & AGENTIC AUTOMATION — REQUIRED

You build with AI, not just use it. Specifically:

- Design and deploy autonomous ops agents using LangChain, CrewAI, or similar frameworks




- Build LLM-assisted runbooks that self-diagnose and self-resolve common infrastructure incidents
- Integrate AI-driven anomaly detection and auto-remediation into monitoring pipelines
- Use AI for test generation, log analysis, and deployment risk scoring
- Actively use coding assistants and prompt engineering to accelerate infrastructure work

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Own and evolve the full CI/CD pipeline — from commit to production, fully automated
- Provision and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP using Terraform
- Manage Kubernetes clusters — scaling, networking, security hardening, cost optimisation
- Automate testing pipelines: unit integration E2E, running on every PR without manual intervention
- Build self-healing systems — automated rollback, circuit breakers, incident auto-response
- Reduce toil through agentic workflows and scripted automation (Python / Bash)
- Set up and maintain observability stacks with intelligent alerting across all services
- Partner with backend engineers to improve release velocity and system reliability

WHAT YOU BRING

- Knowledge in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles
- Proven experience building structured, fully automated CI/CD pipelines in production
- Deep AWS hands-on: ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, VPC
- Solid GCP experience: Cloud Run, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, IAM
- Solid Terraform skills — you write reusable modules, not one-off scripts
- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM frameworks in an ops or automation context
- Scripting fluency in Python and Bash
- Strong incident response and RCA discipline
