Staff DevOps & AI Platform Engineer

Location: Remote, India

Employment Type: Full-Time / FTE

Working Hours: Day shift with 3–4 hours of USA time-zone overlap

Travel: Minimal, depending on client requirements

About the Role

We are looking for a Staff DevOps & AI Platform Engineer to take ownership of the infrastructure, security, reliability and operational excellence of an enterprise AI knowledge and retrieval platform.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering position combining DevOps, SRE, Azure Cloud, Platform

Engineering, Security and AI Operations.

What You'll Do

- Own and manage Azure-based cloud infrastructure, deployments and platform operations.
- Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and environment promotion processes.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using technologies such as Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
- Establish robust standards for monitoring, observability, alerting and reliability.
- Lead incident management,



troubleshooting and production support.
- Implement and manage authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, IAM and Azure Managed Identity.
- Support secure multi-tenant platform architectures.
- Ensure scalability, availability, performance and disaster recovery readiness.
- Support production AI, retrieval, search and content-processing platforms.
- Build automation and platform tooling using Python.
- Work with MCP Servers in production environments.

What We're Looking For

- 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Strong Python development and automation skills.
- Production experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience — Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
