DevOps Engineer

We are searching for a decisive and insightful DevOps engineer to join our company. The DevOps engineer will be involved in various stages of each products lifespan and should remain abreast of technological advancements to promote efficiency. To ensure success as a DevOps engineer, you should ensure that all outputs remain protected for public consumption.

TheDevOpss engineer needs to take care of daily operational issues and see how best to optimize the current processes to reduce cost and effort. At the same time, put in effective monitoring at infra level to ensure zero downtime.

Responsibilities:

Defining and setting development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation

Rolling out fixes and upgrades to the software as needed.

Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management

Suggesting alterations to workflow to improve efficiency and success.

Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)

Perform root cause analysis of production errors and resolve technical issues.

Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible

Mentoring and guiding the team members

Collaborating with coworkers to conceptualize, develop, and release software.

Requirements:





Engineering graduate with at 2-4 years of experience as a DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer.

Experience in running servers on GCP at production scale.

Working experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Should be familiar with Load Balancing and Auto Scaling concepts on GCP.

Solid understanding of CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins, Git amongst others

Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns

Familiar with complex event processing and event-driven architecture

Should have experience in setting up at least one monitoring / alerting solution for monitoring all critical cloud resources.

Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL and MongoDB

Good understanding of PHP, Node.JS, and Python

Experience using an array of automation tools.

Top-notch decision-making and collaborative abilities.

Customer-oriented with the ability to receive and use constructive criticism.

Availability to resolve urgent production issues outside of business hours.
