Role Overview

We are looking for a Contract/Freelancer DevOps / Cloud Engineer with solid AWS and Azure experience to establish secure, automated and reliable cloud delivery practices. The role will support environment provisioning, CI/CD, observability, security, scalability and production readiness.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, provision and maintain cloud environments across AWS and/or Azure.

· Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, data and integration components.

· Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.

· Implement containerization and deployment practices using Docker and, where applicable, Kubernetes.

· Manage application configuration, secrets, certificates and environment-specific settings securely.

· Implement monitoring, logging, alerting and observability for applications and cloud infrastructure.

· Support high availability, scalability, backup, recovery and disaster-recovery requirements.

· Work with engineering teams to improve build, release and deployment reliability.

· Apply cloud security, IAM, network-security and least-privilege principles.

· Support vulnerability remediation, patching and setting hardening in coordination with security teams.

· Monitor cloud utilization and support performance and cost optimization.

· Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, network and production issues.

· Maintain deployment runbooks, architecture documentation and operational procedures.





Required Skills & Experience

· 4-8 years of DevOps / Cloud engineering experience.

· Strong hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure; practical exposure to both is preferred.

· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or equivalent.

· Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep or equivalent.

· Hands-on Docker experience; Kubernetes experience for container orchestration is preferred.

· Experience with cloud networking, IAM, load balancing, storage, compute and managed services.

· Experience implementing monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.

· Good understanding of Linux and scripting using PowerShell, Bash and/or Python.

· Knowledge of cloud security, secrets management, certificates and secure configuration.

· Experience supporting production environments and incident troubleshooting.

· Understanding of backup, disaster recovery, high availability and cloud cost optimization.

Good to Have

· AWS and/or Microsoft Azure certifications.

· Experience supporting .NET, Python, React and Angular workloads.

· Experience with API gateways, messaging, serverless and managed database services.

· Exposure to security scanning and DevSecOps automation.

· Experience in regulated or enterprise environments.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
