Role & responsibilities: - Desktop Support Engineer (L2) (Server experience preferable ) to join our IT Infrastructure team. The candidate will be responsible for providing Level-2 technical support for end-user devices while managing and maintaining Windows server infrastructure, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and IT security systems.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting complex desktop issues, administering Windows servers, maintaining backups, and supporting enterprise IT environments.

Preferred candidate profile

Desktop Support (L2)

- Provide Level-2 support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 10/11 operating systems.
- Support Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange connectivity issues.
- Manage software installations, updates, and endpoint configurations.




- Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.
- Perform asset management and maintain inventory records.
- Support end users through ticketing systems and ensure SLA compliance.
- Coordinate with OEM vendors for hardware replacements and warranty support.

Windows Server Administration

- Manage Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022 environments.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO), and File Servers.
- Create, modify, disable users and groups in Active Directory.
- Perform password resets and access management.
- Monitor server performance, services, logs, and storage utilization.
- Manage server patching, upgrades, and security hardening activities.
- Troubleshoot domain authentication and replication issues.
- Configure and maintain shared drives, NTFS permissions, and file access controls.
