We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer – Secondary Engineering to join our team and work on technically challenging HV substation projects .

? Key Responsibilities

- Execute secondary engineering activities for HV AIS & GIS substations
- Develop and review Protection & Control (P&C;) engineering deliverables
- Prepare and review:
- Protection & Control single-line diagrams
- Control schematics
- AC/DC schematics
- Interconnection diagrams
- Cable schedules and termination schedules
- Relay/control panel drawings
- SCADA/SAS I/O lists and architecture
- Support protection relay selection, configuration and engineering
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers and internal engineering teams
- Review vendor documents and resolve technical queries
- Participate in design reviews, FAT/SAT and project engineering activities
- Ensure engineering deliverables meet project quality, schedule and technical requirements
- Work in accordance with applicable IEC/IEEE standards and utility requirements

? What We’re Looking For
- 5–12 years of experience in substation secondary engineering / Protection & Control




- Strong experience with HV AIS/GIS substations
- Good understanding of:
- Protection systems
- Control & relay panels
- SCADA / SAS
- Substation automation
- AC/DC control systems
- Communication systems
- IEC 61850
- Experience with protection relays from manufacturers such as ABB, Siemens, SEL or equivalent
- Experience with engineering tools such as AutoCAD, EPLAN or equivalent
- Strong technical documentation and coordination skills
- Experience working with UK/European utility projects will be highly valued
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical / Power Engineering or related discipline

? Preferred Experience Candidates with exposure to UK utility standards, UK substation projects, AIS/GIS projects, Protection & Control engineering, SCADA/SAS and IEC 61850 are particularly encouraged to apply.
