Design and plan lighting and electrical systems. They work in collaboration with a variety of professionals, including Architects, Interior designers and Electrical Consultants. The lighting design can be for residential, commercial, retail, offices or industrial spaces.
Duties & Responsibilities:-
- Should master in the product knowledge of luminaire range offered by us.
-Site visit and support installation upon request from the management.
- Leading project team on lighting calculation, BOQ extracting & spec breaking.
-Interacting with sales team to analyze customer inputs and deliver as per customer satisfaction. -Preparing lighting layout and design report.
-Ensuring designs are submitted as per service level agreement.
-Maintaining records of all designs created.
-Maintaining photometric database of products.
-Aftersales product inspection, testing, reporting and follow-up until delivering replacement.
-Take lead on operational activities on product modifications and customization, if so required on projects.
-Preparation & timely submission of compliance statements and technical submittals required for projects.
-Provide duly training to the team & key clients/customers on technical and product improvements/updates.
Lighting Designer Skills:-
-Having a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
-Should be proficient in the basics principles of lighting, lighting design parameters and lighting design approach, photometric data.
-Possessing minimum 2 years of work experience in lighting/electrical industry OR 4-5 years in other industry.
-Proficient in AutoCAD / Dialux and similar software/tools.
-Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup will be an added advantage.
