About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and creative Design Manager to lead the design function for our Interior Vertical .

The role will be responsible for managing the complete design journey — from understanding client requirements and developing concepts to final design approval and handover to the execution team.

This is a design-focused leadership role , with strong ownership of design quality, team performance, client experience, and design-led project conversion.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Interior Design team and ensure quality delivery across projects.
- Understand client requirements and ensure designs are aligned with their lifestyle, preferences, and budget.
- Drive the complete design process from concept development to final design approval .
- Review and approve design concepts, layouts, 3D designs, material selections, and working drawings.
- Ensure consistency in design quality, detailing, and presentation across projects.
- Guide designers on space planning, aesthetics, materials, furniture, lighting, and practical execution.
- Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to the design team.
- Handle key client meetings and presentations during the design journey.
- Work closely with the Business Manager/Sales team to ensure a smooth transition from customer requirement to design.




- Coordinate with the Project Execution team to ensure designs are practical and executable.
- Identify design gaps and implement processes to improve overall design quality.
- Track project timelines and ensure designs are delivered within committed deadlines.
- Mentor and develop designers to improve their technical and creative capabilities.
- Maintain design standards, templates, processes, and best practices for the Interior Vertical.

Key Skills & Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in residential interior design.
- Strong experience in modular interiors, kitchens, wardrobes, and complete home interiors .
- Experience in managing or mentoring a team of interior designers.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior detailing.
- Good understanding of design-to-execution processes.
- Strong client communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape , or similar design tools.
- Robust leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and designers simultaneously.
- Strong design sense with attention to detail and quality.

Education : Graduation in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience and strong design portfolio will also be considered.
