Job Summary

We are looking for an Estimation & Design Engineer with experience in control panel estimation, electrical design, costing, and documentation. The candidate will handle techno-commercial estimation and design of PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD, APFC and automation panels and coordinate with sales, production, procurement, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Review customer RFQs, technical specifications, SLDs, and tender documents.
- Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations and cost estimates.
- Design GA drawings, panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prepare BOM, cable schedules, and manufacturing documents.
- Select suitable switchgear, breakers, busbars, enclosures, and electrical components.
- Perform busbar sizing, cable sizing, electrical calculations, and protection selection.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase, Production, and Project teams for technical requirements.




- Support customer discussions and resolve technical/design queries.
- Maintain proper drawing revisions, BOMs, and engineering records.
- Provide technical support to the production and commissioning teams.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable IEC/IS standards and customer specifications.

Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of PCC, MCC, PLC, VFD, APFC and IMCC panels.
- Experience in control panel estimation and electrical design.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD; EPLAN knowledge will be an advantage.
- Understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Knowledge of busbar and cable sizing.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Profile
- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in control panel estimation and design.
- Candidates with experience in LT/MV panels and industrial automation panels will be preferred.
