Role Description The Design Engineer will work full time in office at the Ahmedabad facility, contributing to the design, estimation and development of modular office furniture and related products. Daily responsibilities include creating and refining product designs, preparing detailed CAD models and drawings, and collaborating with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility and quality. The role involves optimizing designs for ergonomics, durability, and cost-effectiveness, as well as supporting prototype development and testing.

The Design





Engineer will also assist in continuous improvement initiatives, documentation, and cross-functional coordination to meet project timelines and client requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate functional requirements into practical furniture solutions.
- Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles relevant to furniture structures, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, detailed drafting, and design documentation.
- Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts related to integrated workspace solutions (e.g., cable management, power access), preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related discipline.
- Experience in furniture, industrial product, or manufacturing design environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
