Position : Design Engineer

Machine Design Engineer with around 3-5 years of experience and solid proficiency in SolidWorks. The candidate will be responsible for designing machine components, preparing detailed drawings, and supporting manufacturing and assembly processes. The role requires good knowledge of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, and manufacturing practices.

· Design and development of machine components and assemblies

· Preparation of detailed engineering drawings

· Support to production and vendor development teams

· Create 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks

· Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and GD&T;

· Design components such as shafts, gears, housings, frames, and sheet metal parts

· Perform basic engineering calculations (load, stress, torque, fits & tolerances)

· Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM)

· Review and modify designs based on trials, testing, and feedback

· Coordinate with production, quality, and vendors for manufacturability

· Support shop floor during fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting





· Ensure compliance with design standards, safety norms, and quality requirements

· Maintain design documentation and revision control

· Authority to modify and improve designs within defined project scope

· Authority to release drawings for manufacturing after internal approval

Key Responsibilities:

· Accurate and efficient 3D modelling using SolidWorks

· Timely release of drawings and BOM for manufacturing

· Ensuring manufacturability and cost-effective design

· Supporting production and resolving design-related issues

· Continuous improvement of existing designs

· Maintaining quality and compliance with standards

JOB SPECIFICATION:

- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in machine design
- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing modules)

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
