Seating Structure Engineer UGNX

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech Mechanical / Automobile Engineering

We are having urgent opening for Seating Structure Engineer with robust experience in automotive seat structure design and development using UGNX (Siemens NX).

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop automotive seating structures including seat frames, side members, cross members, brackets, and mounting structures.
- Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using UGNX.
- Strong hands-on experience in Surface Modelling, Solid Modelling, Sheet Metal Modelling, and Assembly Modelling.
- Perform seat packaging, clearance & interference checks, and interface studies.
- Develop designs considering DFM/DFA, manufacturing feasibility, ergonomics, strength, and weight optimization.
- Prepare 2D drawings with GD&T;,



tolerances, and engineering specifications.
- Coordinate with Design, CAE, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams for product development and issue resolution.
- Support design reviews, engineering changes, validation, and production release.
- Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards, safety, and customer requirements.
