About the Role

GTET Private Limited is looking for a Design Engineer – Level I with 2–3 years of experience in engineering design and product development. The role involves CAD/CAE activities, student project support, technical training, consultancy projects, Centre of Excellence (COE) activities, and additive manufacturing.

The candidate should have strong working knowledge of CATIA, with familiarity with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, DELMIA, and SIMULIA. Strong knowledge of Generative Shape Design (GSD) and Sheet Metal Design is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Guide and mentor students on academic, industrial and engineering projects involving design, simulation, analysis and project execution.
- Conduct practical CAD and CAE training using the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and provide hands-on technical guidance.
- Support and execute industry and consultancy projects related to mechanical design, simulation, analysis and product development.
- Provide technical and operational support to the Head of the Centre of Excellence (COE) and Senior Resource for training programs, projects, workshops and industry activities.
- Support additive manufacturing and 3D printing activities, including CAD-to-print workflows, slicing and G-code generation.
- Operate and troubleshoot 3D printers as required.
- Apply engineering design and analytical skills to assigned projects and technical activities.




- Work independently on assigned tasks while maintaining a structured and detail-oriented approach.
- Learn and adapt to new engineering tools, technologies and project requirements.

Required Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- 2–3 years of relevant engineering design/product development experience.
- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of CATIA.
- Robust knowledge of Generative Shape Design (GSD).
- Strong knowledge of Sheet Metal Design.
- Familiarity with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is required.
- Working knowledge of DELMIA is required.
- Working knowledge of SIMULIA is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a critical and structured approach.
- Self-driven and capable of handling assignments independently.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively with minimal training.
- Knowledge of additive manufacturing and 3D printing.

Preferred / Additional Skills
- Practical experience in 3D printer operation.
- Experience in 3D printer troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CAD-to-print workflows.
- Knowledge of slicing and G-code generation.
- Exposure to engineering consultancy or industrial projects.
