About the Opportunity

We are hiring Manufacturing Engineers / Designer Engineers for an opportunity with an aerospace/aircraft component manufacturing organization. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, understanding manufacturing requirements, classifying components, and identifying suitable manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and interpret 2D engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Understand drawing specifications, materials, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing requirements.
- Identify the appropriate commodity/manufacturing category for components.
- Determine suitable manufacturing process families and process routes.
- Analyze processes such as CNC machining, sheet metal forming, forging, casting, and assembly.
- Identify and document material specifications.
- Assess component size, complexity, and manufacturing requirements.
- Classify parts into appropriate manufacturing families.
- Record classification and technical information in project databases/templates.
- Review and validate classifications for accuracy and consistency.
- Maintain project-specific productivity and quality standards.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering and manufacturing processes.




- Ability to read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Knowledge of CNC machining, sheet metal, forming, forging, casting, and assembly.
- Ability to understand material specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes will be an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and engineering documentation tools.

Preferred Experience

- 2–5 years of relevant Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Experience in aerospace / aircraft component manufacturing preferred.
- Candidates with experience in manufacturing process classification, drawing interpretation, or aerospace component manufacturing will be considered.

Candidate Profile We are looking for engineers who have a solid foundation in manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, GD&T;, materials, and component classification, with an interest in aerospace manufacturing.
