Design Engineer

1. Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Design Engineer to join our Design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and documentation of industrial machinery, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

1. Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for industrial machinery.
- Prepare and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D models.
- Create detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Perform design calculations, selection of components, and material specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Automation, and Service teams for smooth execution.
- Work on design improvements, cost reduction, and value engineering.
- Support new machine development projects and customization as per customer requirements.
- Ensure design compliance with quality, safety, and industry standards.
- Provide technical support during manufacturing, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
- Maintain proper version control and documentation of designs.

1. Required Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.




- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in industrial machinery design.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software – SolidWorks preferred.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience in industrial machinery manufacturing will be preferred.

Experience in any of the following industries will be an added advantage:
- Industrial Machinery Manufacturing
- PP Woven Sack Machinery
- FIBC / Packaging Machinery
- Printing Machinery
- Automation & Engineering Equipment

1. Skills & Competencies

- Solid mechanical design and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Vatva, Ahmedabad Urgent Requirement – Design Engineers with minimum 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
