Role : Design Buildings Expert (General Management services for railway projects)

Responsibilities

- Provide specialised design review and technical advisory services for all building-related works (station buildings, service buildings, residential quarters, administrative buildings, concourses, airspace development, etc.).

- Review architectural, civil, structural, and allied drawings submitted by contractors/DPR consultants for functionality, general layout, adherence to specifications, codes, and Authority requirements.

- Perform design coordination and integration of building works with MEPF, Civil, Electrical, and other sub-systems (ducting, pedestals, cabins, supports, etc.).

- Review preliminary design drawings, definitive drawings,



and as-built drawings; identify defects/omissions and recommend corrections.

- Assist in scrutiny of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and technical specifications related to buildings.

- Contribute to documentation, progress reports, and technical advice on building-related variations or claims.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 10 years’ industry experience as Designer in the relevant field (structural design of buildings).
