We are looking for a Derivatives Analyst with strong numerical ability, market understanding and an interest in equity derivatives. The role involves market analysis, trade execution, strategy monitoring and supporting trading operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor equity and derivatives markets and identify trading opportunities.
- Analyse market movements, volumes, volatility, Open Interest and price behaviour.
- Execute trades accurately and efficiently through trading terminals.
- Monitor allocated strategies, positions, exposure and daily P&L.;
- Maintain trading diaries, position records and daily reports.
- Work closely with traders and research teams on trading setups and opportunities.
- Follow defined trading, risk management and operational guidelines.
- Identify and escalate execution or risk-related issues promptly.
Key Skills:
- Robust understanding of Equity, Futures & Options.
- Knowledge of Options Greeks, Open Interest and volatility.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability.
- High speed and accuracy in trade execution.
- Good attention to detail and risk awareness.
- Strong ownership, discipline and ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Profile: Candidates with 2-7 years of experience in Equity Derivatives, Trading, Capital Markets, Proprietary Trading, Broking or Derivatives Research.
CFA Level I/II and CA/CA Inter candidates with relevant experience are preferred.
