Required Deputy Technical Director for Export Oriented Pigment Manufacturing Unit -

Basic Requirement

○ Education

Preferred - Master’s or Ph.D. in Dyes/Intermediates / Chemical Engineering / Organic Chemistry

○ Experience: About 20-25 years of experience in the chemical industry preferably connected to Pigments / Dyes, Bulk Organic Chemicals / Intermediates etc.

○ Preferred Practical Working knowledge:

Preliminary knowledge of different branches of Chemistry/Chemical Process Technology/Unit Operations/Rudimentary knowledge on working with various machineries related to Chemical Factory, Basic Design specifications of various unit operation Equipments, Safe Handling of Dangerous Chemical Processes etc.

○ Export-Oriented Knowledge: Familiarity with international standards, quality control procedures, and documentation required for export markets etc.

● Key responsibilities

○ Technical Operations: Manage the technical aspects pertaining to manufacturing Process Operations, Effluent treatments, ensuring smooth and efficient factory working operations.

○ Research and Development: Participate actively in R&D; projects to develop new pigment products, improve existing formulations, aid in Scale up operations, etc.

○ Quality Assurance and Control:



Oversee laboratory testing, quality control processes, and ensure that products meet international standards and customer specifications.

○ Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of technical staff, including researchers, chemists, and production staff.

○ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.

○ Strategy and Planning: Provide technical direction and contribute to business strategies, aligning with company goals and market trends.

○ Coordination: Work closely with other departments like sales, marketing, and administration to support export activities and address technical inquiries.

○ Develop, implement, and manage quality control protocols and ensure products comply with international industry standards and customer specifications.

○ Problem-Solving: Proactive and creative problem-solver with robust decision-making capabilities, especially under pressure.

○ Global Acumen: Ability to adapt to global market trends and cultural awareness to manage international collaborations effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
