Role & responsibilities

- Lead quality activities for hobbing, shaping, shaving, grinding, turning and gear inspection processes.
- Ensure dimensional, functional and assembly quality of gears, shafts and transmission components.
- Manage transmission assembly quality, including torque, backlash, end play, bearing preload, noise and vibration.
- Drive PFMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, Cp/Cpk, Process & Product Audits and Poka-Yoke.
- Handle customer complaints, 8D, RCA, corrective/preventive actions and OEM audits.
- Lead APQP, PPAP, process validation, trials and SOP quality readiness.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements.
- Lead and develop the Quality team across machining, inspection and transmission assembly.
- Drive improvement in PPM, rejection, rework, scrap, FPY and customer complaints.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong experience in automotive gear industry
- Hands-on knowledge of gear inspection / measurement, CMM
- Robust knowledge of IATF, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC, 8D and RCA.
- Experience handling OEM customers and leading quality teams.
- Candidates must have scored at least 60% throughout all academic qualifications.
