Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Order Cycle Management

- Own end-to-end sales coordination and the complete sales order cycle from order booking/confirmation to processing, scheduling, dispatch coordination and delivery closure across all business verticals.
- Liaise with the sales teams of each business vertical to capture, validate and prioritize customer orders.
- Track order status at every stage, proactively resolve bottlenecks, and ensure adherence to committed delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date order-to-delivery trackers/records for each business vertical.
- Coordinate with logistics, dispatch and commercial teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.

2. Production Planning & Control

- Prepare production plans for each business vertical based on confirmed sales orders, inventory position and demand forecasts.
- Coordinate closely with plant/production teams to align production schedules with sales commitments.
- Monitor actual production output against plan, identify gaps and drive corrective action.
- Ensure optimum utilization of production capacity across the businesses under responsibility.
- Track raw material and stock availability relevant to production planning, and flag risks to the concerned teams in advance.

3. End-to-End Business Operations Management

- Own end-to-end operations for the business verticals under responsibility, coordinating across sales, production, logistics,



quality and finance functions.
- Standardize and streamline operating processes and SOPs across verticals for consistency and efficiency.
- Identify and drive operational efficiency and cost-optimization initiatives.
- Act as the single operational point of contact for each business vertical.

4. Data Analytics, MIS & Reporting

- Create and maintain business, profit, production and sales MIS reports for each vertical.
- Build and maintain management dashboards presenting key business KPIs.
- Analyze sales, production and profitability data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Work on AI-enabled tools and integrations to automate reporting, analytics and forecasting.
- Ensure timely and accurate circulation of reports and dashboards to management.

5. Business Reviews & Management Presentations

- Prepare presentations for monthly and quarterly business review meetings.
- Consolidate inputs from the respective business verticals into a consistent management reporting format.
- Present key business, operational and financial highlights to senior management as required.

6. Market Analysis

- Conduct market analysis covering competitor benchmarking, industry trends, pricing movement and demand-supply position relevant to each business vertical.
- Translate market insights into actionable inputs for business and sales strategy discussions with the Vice President Commercial.

7. Cross-Functional Coordination

- Act as the operating bridge between the respective business verticals/departments and the Vice President – Commercial.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across sales, production, logistics and finance teams within each vertical.




- Escalate and help resolve inter-departmental issues in coordination with the Vice President – Commercial.

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Electrical Engineering, Minerals Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline; OR B.Com.
- MBA in Marketing or Operations Management is mandatory, in addition to the above.
- An MBA from a reputed / premier business school or institute will be an added advantage.

Key Skills & Competencies

- Robust understanding of sales order management and the order-to-delivery cycle.
- Production planning & control expertise across multiple business verticals.
- Strong data analytics, MIS and reporting skills, with proficiency in Excel/BI tools and exposure to AI-based analytics/automation tools.
- Ability to build management dashboards and business presentations (PowerPoint, Power BI or similar).
- Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills across multiple businesses.
- Market analysis and business acumen.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for senior management business reviews.
- Ability to manage multiple businesses/verticals simultaneously with ownership and execution discipline.
