To manage and strengthen Industrial Engineering activities related to aggregate business costing, value addition, and RFQ handling, ensuring accurate cost estimation, effective commercial negotiation, and alignment with customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
A. Existing Aggregate Business (Costing & Commercial Management)
- Monitor customer portals and upload required commercial and operational data.
- Finalize annual value addition (VA) and support negotiations with customer teams.
- Prepare and submit Quarterly QAF (Quotation Adjustment Forms) based on:
- Raw material price changes
- Foreign exchange rate variations
- Track and monitor actual vs budgeted costs (maintenance, manpower, miscellaneous).
- Analyze and manage
- Under-recovery / Over-recovery on quarterly & yearly basis
- Various amortization costs
- Review manpower deployment vs planned levels used in costing.
- Ensure accurate tracking of all cost heads contributing to product pricing.
B. Recent RFQ Management
- Download and track RFQs from customer portals.
- Participate in customer meetings and technical discussions.
- Prepare detailed value addition / cost sheets for new business.
- Coordinate with
- Process Engineering (PE) for layout planning
- Capacity planning & feasibility analysis
- Prepare offer presentations and present to customers.
- Upload quotations and supporting documents on customer portals.
- Lead/support price negotiations with customers.
C. Industrial Engineering & Cost Optimization
- Perform cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Support capacity planning, productivity improvement,
and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Participate in value engineering (VA/VE) activities.
- Contribute to budgeting and financial planning for IE-related activities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (Mandatory)
- ERP/SAP (preferably CO module)

- 612 years of experience in Industrial Engineering / Costing / RFQ roles
- Strong experience in manufacturing cost structures
- Proven exposure to RFQ handling and customer negotiations
- Experience working with OEM customers or automotive industry
- Ability to independently handle end-to-end costing and proposal preparation
