Job Purpose

Chandigarh University is seeking an experienced and energetic Deputy Manager HR to manage and support key HR functions, with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, shortlisting, interview coordination, selection, and offer management.
- Work closely with departmental heads and stakeholders to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closure of positions.
- Develop effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire quality talent.
- Ensure proper HR documentation and maintain accurate employee records, recruitment documents, and related reports.
- Manage and coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth joining experience for new employees.
- Conduct joining formalities and coordinate with relevant departments for seamless employee integration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.




- Ensure regular communication and coordination with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
- Track recruitment progress and prepare regular MIS and status reports.
- Support HR initiatives, policies, and process improvements as required.
- Ensure a positive candidate and employee experience throughout the recruitment and onboarding
- lifecycle.

Qualification Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
