Designation - Dental Assistant

Purpose of the Role The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to support dentists in delivering productive and high-quality patient care by assisting during dental procedures, maintaining clinic hygiene and preparedness.

Reporting to Head - Dentist

Responsibilities

- Assisting dentists during dental procedures and treatments.
- Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in treatment areas as per clinic protocols.
- Managing inventory of dental supplies and reporting shortages when required.
- Ensuring proper disposal of biomedical waste as per regulations.
- Supporting the clinic team in administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Maintaining patient comfort and providing a positive patient experience.




- Coordinating with dental labs for case follow-ups and timely updates.
- Managing lab deliveries and informing front-desk to schedule patient appointments accordingly.
- Ensuring smooth lab coordination for ongoing and completed dental cases.
- Supporting dental associate in taking X-rays.
- Dental scans (after training).
- Teeth cleaning (after training).

Education Qualification and Skills

- Minimum qualification: Higher Secondary (12th Pass)
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting is preferred.
- Prior experience in a dental clinic or healthcare setup will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization procedures, and patient handling preferred.

Years of Experience

- 0–2 years of experience in a dental clinic, hospital, or healthcare setup preferred.
- Freshers with relevant certification or training in dental assisting may also apply.
- Experience in patient handling, sterilization procedures, and chairside assistance will be an added advantage

Work days/timings

- 10:30 AM – 07:00 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
- 09:00 AM – 05:30 PM (Tuesday)
- 08:30 AM – 02:00 PM (Saturday)
