Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and skilled DCDP – South Indian to join our Food Production team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing authentic South Indian cuisine while maintaining high standards of quality, taste, presentation, hygiene, and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes as per hotel standards.
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure timely food preparation.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
- Ensure proper food hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices.
- Monitor food quality and minimize wastage.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and workstations.
- Coordinate with the Chef de Cuisine / Sous Chef for daily operations.
- Guide and supervise Commis and junior kitchen staff.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food ingredients.
- Assist in menu preparation and food trials when required.
- Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and production procedures.

Requirements




- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in South Indian cuisine.
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or reputed restaurant preferred.
- Good knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to handle high-volume kitchen operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Hotel Management / Culinary qualification preferred.
