We are seeking a skilled and experienced Dell EMC Networker/DPA/Data Domain Specialist to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data protection and disaster recovery solutions, with expertise in at least two of the following technologies: Dell EMC Networker, Data Protection Advisor (DPA), and Data Domain.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage, configure, and maintain Dell EMC Networker, DPA, and Data Domain systems.
- Develop, implement, and support data migration solutions to ensure seamless data transfer across platforms.
- Design, implement, and manage disaster recovery (DR) solutions to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor and troubleshoot backup and recovery environments to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align backup and recovery strategies with business requirements.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with data protection standards and policies.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning for backup and recovery systems.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures related to data protection and disaster recovery.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Dell EMC Networker, DPA, and/or Data Domain (experience with at least two technologies is mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows operating systems and VMware virtualization.
- Experience in implementing and supporting data migration solutions.
- Expertise in designing and managing disaster recovery solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong understanding of data protection best practices and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Dell EMC certification in Networker, DPA, or Data Domain.
- Experience with cloud-based backup and recovery solutions.
- Strong scripting skills for automation (e.g., Shell, PowerShell).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.
