The Tapa Co. makes ritual kits and guides that help families perform pujas with care and correctness. We're a young brand launching in Delhi-NCR this festive season.
Every kit we send is time-sensitive. It has to reach the customer before their ritual, intact, and handled with respect. We're looking for one person to own that journey, from our shelf to the customer's door.
This is a 3-month contract with the option to convert, and we need someone who can join immediately. Our courier partner does the driving. You'll run everything else. Do it well, and you'll be first in line to build and lead our delivery team as we grow.
What you'll do
- Check every packed kit before dispatch, especially fragile items like clay diyas, glass and liquids
- Book shipments, schedule pickups and track every order daily
- Make sure dated ritual kits arrive well ahead of the ritual
- Chase failed deliveries: call customers, fix addresses, get re-attempts done
- Escalate stuck parcels the same day and arrange backup riders for urgent local orders
- Handle damage claims and returns, and keep customers updated on WhatsApp and phone
- Keep our inventory records accurate for every dispatch and return
- Share a short weekly report on deliveries, returns and open issues
You'll fit if you have
- 1–2 years in delivery or logistics operations at an e-commerce company, D2C brand or courier company
- Hands-on experience with a courier dashboard (Delhivery, Shiprocket, Ekart or similar)
- Working comfort with Excel or Google Sheets
- Good knowledge of Delhi-NCR and a calm, polite manner on the phone
- Fluent Hindi and positive English
- Willingness to work through Diwali week. It's our peak, and we'll make it worth your while
Good to have
- Experience with fragile items or a festive-season rush
- Quick to learn a new in-house order dashboard
- Respect for puja items and rituals
