Job Role The Delivery Executive is responsible for managing and completing customer deliveries efficiently, safely, and on time while providing positive customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage and complete assigned customer deliveries on time.
- Pick up orders from shops/vendors and deliver them to customers.
- Ensure orders are delivered safely and accurately.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and the operations team.
- Handle delivery-related customer queries professionally.
- Maintain proper delivery records and update order status.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Handle cash or digital payment collections, when required.
- Report delivery issues, delays, or order-related problems to the operations team.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle/bike and ensure it is in good condition.
- Follow company policies and safety guidelines.
- Support smooth day-to-day delivery operations.
Requirements
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence.
- Own two-wheeler preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the local area and routes.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Responsible, punctual, and reliable.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliveries.
- Previous delivery experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
