Overall Objectives of job We are looking for a motivated Cloud Database Engineer to join our infrastructure team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical database services running on AWS. You will work closely with the team to ensure high availability, performance, and security of our database landscape.

Duties and responsibilities ● Provisioning & Configuration: Set up and configure managed database services (Aurora PostgreSQL, Aurora MySQL, ElastiCache Redis, MongoDB) using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) ● Performance Tuning: Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance to meet application requirements and SLAs ● Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve database-related incidents, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks ● Patching & Upgrades: Plan and execute database engine patching and version upgrades with minimal downtime ● Automation: Develop and maintain Terraform modules and CI/CD pipelines for database infrastructure deployments ● Documentation: Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational documentation ● Collaboration: Work with application teams to support schema design, query optimization, and capacity planning
