We are looking for a skilled Database Developer to design, develop, secure, and optimize database solutions that support business applications, product features, and analytical workloads. The role involves building reliable and scalable database structures while ensuring data integrity, security, performance, and availability.

The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining database schemas, tables, relationships, constraints, views, and data structures based on application and business requirements. You will develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database migrations while ensuring that database solutions are scalable and maintainable.

Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts is required, along with experience working with platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. The candidate should have a strong understanding of database normalization, transactions, indexing, locking, query optimization, and data integrity.

The role also involves analyzing and optimizing queries, indexes, database configurations, and overall database performance. You will investigate data-quality issues, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement appropriate solutions to improve database reliability and efficiency.





The candidate will be responsible for implementing appropriate database security, access controls, validation, backup, recovery, and data-protection practices. You will also work with migration and deployment processes, replication strategies, and database maintenance activities to ensure reliable data availability.

You will collaborate closely with software developers, data engineers, DevOps teams, and other technical stakeholders to support application development, data-access requirements, schema changes, and database migration activities. The role also includes troubleshooting database-related issues and providing technical guidance on efficient data-access patterns.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of contemporary database-development practices. Experience with database migration tools, backup and recovery solutions, replication, cloud databases, or NoSQL technologies is an added advantage.

You will be expected to maintain clean and well-documented database structures, follow best practices for security and performance, and continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of database systems.
