Key Responsibilities

● Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database systems.

● Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and overall system health.

● Proactively identify potential database performance issues, bottlenecks, and risks, and clearly communicate findings to System Administrators and/or software vendors when resolution requires action from the respective parties.

● Manage database users, roles, permissions, and access controls.

● Perform regular database backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness.

● Maintain database security, integrity, and confidentiality.

● Troubleshoot database issues and minimize system downtime.

● Optimize SQL queries and overall database performance.

● Support application teams with database-related requirements and troubleshooting.

● Maintain accurate database documentation, configuration details, and change records.

● Ensure compliance with company IT and security policies.

Key Requirements

● Bachelor’s degree in IT,



Computer Science, or a related field with 4+ year experience .

● Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar database management systems.

● Prior experience in administering databases with large transactional volumes and high-

volume database environments.

● Strong knowledge of SQL, database backup and recovery, security, and performance tuning.

● Valuable troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to identify database performance bottlenecks and coordinate effectively with

System Administrators, application teams, and software vendors.

● Knowledge of high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions is preferred.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
