We are seeking a highly analytical and business-focused Data Scientist / AI-ML Developer to transform complex datasets into actionable insights and cost optimization opportunities. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in AI/ML, data science, software development, and cost engineering to build predictive models, develop scalable data solutions, and support should-cost analysis for mechanical and electromechanical products.Key Responsibilities

- Extract, clean, validate, and analyze large datasets using Python, SQL, and visualization tools.

- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), statistical modeling, and hypothesis testing to identify cost drivers and business insights.

- Develop and optimize machine learning models, including regression and neural network-based solutions, for product cost estimation and cost reduction opportunities.

- Design and maintain scalable AI-powered applications and data pipelines with high code quality and performance standards.

- Support should-costing, design-to-cost, and bottom-up cost analysis for NPI and legacy products across manufacturing processes such as machining, stamping, plastics, and casting.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Sourcing, and Operations teams during NPI, RFI,



and RFQ phases to establish cost targets and drive cost optimization initiatives.

- Lead process improvement projects focused on tooling, NRE, manufacturing efficiency, yield enhancement, and automation.

- Communicate technical findings effectively to stakeholders and support deployment and adoption of cost analytics solutions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience developing AI/ML applications using Python.

- Solid proficiency in Python, SQL, NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.

- Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB, and data visualization/analytics tools.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, stamping, injection molding, or casting is highly desirable.

- Experience in should-costing, cost modeling, design-to-cost analysis, and statistical data analysis.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
