About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at Systems Limited. This role involves building, evaluating, and deploying sophisticated predictive and intelligent models across various domains including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing production-ready models that are statistically rigorous and aligned with business objectives.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex data insights into actionable business strategies, ensuring that models are not only innovative but also scalable and maintainable in production environments. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess over five years of applied data science experience, with a proven track record of deploying models into production.



Strong expertise in classical and statistical machine learning, forecasting, optimization, and deep learning techniques is essential.

Experience with natural language processing, computer vision, graph-based features, or knowledge graphs is highly desirable. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, along with hands-on experience with frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases, is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and causal inference methodologies.

Familiarity with fairness and bias evaluation tools such as SHAP and LIME, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Data Scientist will be responsible for owning the entire model lifecycle, from development, experimentation, and evaluation to ensuring models are production-ready.

Key responsibilities include developing forecasting, optimization, recommendation, and decision science models, as well as performing feature engineering, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and statistical analysis to uncover meaningful patterns. The role involves designing and implementing rigorous model validation, testing frameworks, and ensuring models meet standards for performance, fairness, and bias mitigation before deployment. Managing experiment tracking, datasets,



and reproducibility using tools such as MLflow or Weights & Biases is essential.

The candidate will present model results, including trade-offs and uncertainties, to business stakeholders and collaborate with ML engineers and architects to productionize models effectively. Additionally, the role may involve leading complex decision intelligence projects and mentoring junior data scientists and ML engineers to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
