Role Description The Data Science Instructor will deliver structured, high-quality instruction in data science concepts and tools to learners in SKILLIT ACADEMY’s programs. This full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad involves planning and conducting interactive classes, workshops, and labs that cover topics such as statistics, Python programming, machine learning, data visualization, and real-world project development.

The instructor will design lesson plans, create learning materials, and update content to align with industry trends and hiring needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding learners through hands-on projects, providing individualized feedback, mentoring learners on career readiness,



and collaborating with the academic team to improve curriculum and teaching methods. The role also requires monitoring learner progress, conducting assessments, and participating in mock interviews and review sessions to support successful outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Science Education skills, including the ability to explain complex technical and analytical concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Mathematics, particularly statistics, probability, linear algebra, and calculus relevant to data science.
- Candidates should possess Qualified Teacher credentials or demonstrable experience in teaching, training, or instructional design for technical subjects.
- Candidates should possess Lesson Planning skills, including developing structured curricula, learning objectives, teaching materials, and assessments.
- Relevant experience with data science tools and technologies (e.g., Python, SQL, machine learning libraries, data visualization tools) is highly beneficial.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, with the ability to mentor diverse learners and support both technical and career development.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Industry experience in data science, analytics, or related roles, and experience with project-based learning or bootcamp-style training are advantageous.
