About The Job:

- We are looking for a Data Privacy professional with 3–7 years of relevant experience to support privacy compliance, risk management, and implementation of privacy-by-design practices across business processes and technology environments.

- The ideal candidate should have strong working knowledge of major privacy regulations such as GDPR, India DPDP Act, and/or other applicable global privacy laws, along with exposure to privacy-enhancing technologies and data discovery tools.

Essential Job Functions:

- Support the design, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise privacy programs in line with applicable privacy laws and regulatory requirements.

- Interpret and apply requirements under GDPR, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, and/or other privacy laws such as CCPA/CPRA, LGPD, PDPA, etc., based on business applicability.

- Conduct privacy impact assessments / data protection impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs), legitimate interest assessments, and privacy risk assessments.

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and updating privacy notices, consent language, internal policies, standards, procedures, and contractual privacy clauses.

- Work closely with legal, compliance, security, product, and business teams to embed privacy-by-design and privacy-by-default principles into projects and operations.

- Map personal data flows, maintain records of processing activities, and identify privacy risks across the data lifecycle.

- Support incident response and breach assessment from a privacy perspective, including regulatory notification analysis where required.

- Assess third-party/vendor privacy controls and support due diligence for data processing arrangements and cross-border data transfers.

- Collaborate with technology teams on privacy controls, consent management, retention, deletion, data subject rights, and cookie/compliance mechanisms.

- Leverage privacy tooling, data discovery tools, and privacy-enhancing technologies to improve monitoring, compliance, and data governance.





- Track evolving privacy laws and industry developments and translate them into actionable business requirements.

- Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal governance reporting related to data privacy.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 3–7 Years

Required Qualifications

- 3–7 years of experience in data privacy, data protection, compliance, risk, legal-tech, information governance, or related domains.

- Strong understanding of GDPR, India DPDP Act, and/or other major privacy laws and regulatory frameworks.

- Hands-on experience in privacy assessments, data mapping, records of processing, data subject rights processes, and consent / notice management.

- Good understanding of core privacy principles including lawful basis, purpose limitation, data minimization, storage limitation, accountability, transparency, and security safeguards.

- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders including legal, security, IT, product, procurement, and business teams.

- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical controls, process improvements, and implementation roadmaps.

- Strong communication, documentation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

- Preferred Technical / Tool Experience

- Understanding of privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs) such as masking, tokenization, anonymization, pseudonymization, differential privacy, encryption, clean rooms, and consent / preference management solutions.

- Exposure to data discovery, data classification, and data governance tools used to identify and manage personal data across systems.

- Experience with one or more privacy management platforms or data discovery tools is preferred (for example: OneTrust, TrustArc, BigID, Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Securiti.ai, Spirion, Varonis, or similar platforms).





- Awareness of cloud privacy and security considerations across common enterprise environments.

Preferred Certifications

- Any relevant certification is a plus, such as CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CIPM, CIPT, DCPP, ISO 27701, or equivalent privacy / information governance certifications.
