Role Overview: /n The Data Modeler will be responsible for analyzing and documenting legacy BI/data platform models (e.g., Qlik, Gather), and redesigning them into up-to-date, scalable data models aligned with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Medallion architecture principles. This role ensures that business logic, relationships, and reporting structures are preserved while enabling modernization. /n /n Location: Open to : Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune /n /n Key Responsibilities /n • Legacy Model Analysis: Review and document existing Qlik/Gather data models, schemas, and business rules /n .

- Model Recreation: Redesign legacy models into Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse structures, following Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers). /n • Business Logic Mapping: Translate legacy calculations, joins, and transformations into Fabric equivalents. /n • Data Governance Alignment: Ensure models comply with governance, lineage, and metadata standards. /n • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, BI consultants, and migration teams to ensure functional parity and business continuity. /n • Optimization: Streamline and normalize models for scalability, performance, and future extensibility.



/n • Documentation: Provide clear technical and functional documentation for migrated models.

Required Skills &

Experience /n • Strong expertise in data modeling techniques (conceptual, logical, physical). /n • Hands on experience with legacy BI/data platforms (Qlik, Gather, or similar). /n • Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse and Medallion architecture design. /n • Proficiency in SQL, schema design, and metadata management. /n • Ability to capture and translate business functionality into modern models. /n • Strong communication and documentation skills. /n /n Preferred Qualifications /n • Experience in BI/data platform migration projects (legacy → Fabric). /n • Familiarity with Azure ecosystem (Synapse, Databricks, Power BI). /n • Exposure to data governance tools (Purview, lineage tracking). /n • Industry experience in telecom, finance, or enterprise scale environments. /n /n Please feel free to write to [email protected] with your basic details Total YOE, Current Fixed + Variable CTC, Notice Period and Location details.
