We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Lineage Engineer/Lead to design, build, and deploy an end-to-end data lineage tracking system across our enterprise platform. In this role, you will be responsible for capturing, processing, and visualising data provenance and flow across our backend microservices down to the frontend user interface.

You will bridge the gap between core backend systems and user-facing dashboards, ensuring complete data transparency, compliance, and governance across our ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Lineage Implementation: Architect and implement automated data lineage tracking from source backend microservices to frontend UI data visualisations.
- Backend Engineering: Design and build scalable REST APIs, metadata extraction services, and tracking agents using Java and Spring Boot.




- Frontend Visualization: Develop intuitive, interactive graphical lineage maps and visual representations using React.js and up-to-date JavaScript charting/graph libraries (e.g., D3.js, React Flow).
- Platform & Deployment: Deploy, manage, and scale microservices on Kubernetes (K8s) clusters with robust containerisation practices.
- CI/CD & Automation: Integrate metadata pipelines and tracking components into automated CI/CD workflows to enable seamless continuous delivery.
- Data Governance & Metadata Management: Partner with Data Engineering and Security teams to ensure data governance policies, impact analysis, and compliance standards are enforced.
