We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in SCADA integration and Cognite AI. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines that connect industrial SCADA systems with Cognite’s AI-driven data platform, enabling advanced analytics and operational insights.
Key Responsibilities
- SCADA Integration: Connect, configure, and manage SCADA data sources for seamless ingestion.
- Data Pipeline Development: Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for real-time and batch data.
- Cognite AI Enablement: Implement Cognite Data Fusion workflows to support AI/ML models.
- Data Modeling: Design schemas and structures for productive storage and retrieval.
- Performance Optimization:
Monitor and fine-tune pipelines for reliability and speed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to deliver actionable insights.
Required Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA systems (configuration, data extraction, integration).
- Hands-on experience with Cognite AI / Cognite Data Fusion.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Solid understanding of industrial data workflows and real-time streaming.
