Data Engineer | Snowflake, DBT & Python

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with solid expertise in Snowflake, DBT, and Python to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing ELT pipelines, transforming large datasets, implementing data models, and supporting enterprise analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, Python, and SQL.
- Build and optimize Snowflake database objects including tables, views, streams, tasks, stages, and warehouses.
- Develop modular DBT models, macros, snapshots, tests, and incremental data processing frameworks.
- Create and maintain ELT workflows for ingesting, transforming, and validating data from multiple sources.
- Develop Python scripts for data processing, automation, validation, monitoring, and orchestration.
- Implement data quality checks, reconciliation processes, and governance standards.
- Optimize query performance, storage utilization, and warehouse costs within Snowflake.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts,



and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Support CI/CD deployments, production monitoring, and issue resolution.

Required Experience

- Strong experience in DBT model development and optimization.
- Advanced SQL programming and performance tuning skills.
- Experience developing Python-based data engineering solutions.
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and modern ELT architectures.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
